All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be participating in some exciting Easter STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) activities on Wednesday 28th March.
During the morning some of our older students will buddy up with our Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students and help them to create their Easter hats. Parents of K-2 students are asked to send in a base hat and some decorations with their child for this activity. Parents are very welcome to join us from 11.40am in the Stage 1 classrooms to assist their student with these wonderful creations. We do ask that you please sign in at the Front Office upon arrival before moving to your child’s classroom.
At Short Break (1.40pm) parents/caregivers of our Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students are invited to join us for a picnic afternoon tea in the Stage 1 playground. You are welcome to bring along your own picnic, or picnic packs are available for pre-order from the School Canteen for $6 per pack. There is the choice of cookies, a muffin or fruit salad with a drink. To ensure you don’t miss out, please click on the link here to order. All orders must be placed by Friday, 23rd March. Payment in cash will need to be made to the Canteen when you collect your pack(s).
The annual Easter Hat Parade for Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 will commence at 2.30pm in the SOLA adjacent to the Kindergarten classrooms with normal dismissal after the Parade from the Canteen and Kiss and Drop collection areas.
Please note that this year the Easter Hat Parade will involve Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students only, with our Year 6 students parading with their Kindergarten buddies.
