Three of our Year 12 students, Youssef Youssef, Naomi Kallmier and Jack Nethery, competed in the Lions Youth of the Year competition this week.
The process was quite rigorous and involved each of the students submitting a resume, being individually interviewed by a panel and then attending a dinner where they each presented both a prepared and an impromptu speech to the Lions Club.
Youssef was selected by the club as the representative to continue on to the next stage of the competition at a regional level early next year.
