Roxanne has Returned to Performing Arts at SCAS

Roxanne Montgomery has a passion for the arts. “I loved any opportunity to perform when I was a student at SCAS,” she says.

It is this love for the stage that has brought her back to the SCAS community as she has taken on the role of Performing Arts and Events Assistant in Term 2.

Since graduating in 2014, Roxanne has been busy. She is in her final year of a Bachelor of Criminal Justice at Charles Sturt University, teaches a weekly Body Balance class at local gym Five Star Fitness and performs in live entertainment band MR with her brother Michael.

Roxanne started Kindergarten at SCAS in 2002 as a Foundation Student. In that time she has seen a lot of changes to the School, but she thinks the best is yet to come.

“SCAS is more dynamic and changing than ever. There are lots of new buildings and new faces, but the culture and ‘SCAS’ feel has only grown stronger.”

Roxanne’s new office is based in the IONA Performing Arts Centre, her favourite addition to the school. “I am very jealous that I didn’t get to use it as a student,” she laughs.

Welcome back to SCAS, Roxanne, and good luck with your future endeavours.
