SCAS girls ace the AICES Swimming Championships

SCAS was represented by 3 swimmers attending the Association of Independent Co-Educational Schools (AICES) Swimming Championships held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre this week, having qualified at the HRIS Carnival held earlier this month. We are pleased to report that all 3 achieved wonderful results as follows:

• Mathilda ‘Tilly’ King (12 Years Girls) – 1^st 100m Freestyle, 2^nd 50m Breaststroke, 2^nd 50m Freestyle, 5^th 50m Backstroke and 6^th 50m Butterfly

• Grace Bannon (15 Years Girls) – 1^st 100m Freestyle, 2^nd 50m Breastroke, 2^nd 50m Backstroke, 3^rd 200m Freestyle, 3^rd 200m Individual Medley, 4^th 50m Butterfly and 5^th 50m Freestyle

• Meg Goodwin (18 Years Girls) – 6^th 50m Backstroke, 9^th 50m Freestyle and 10^th 50m Butterfly

In further great news both Grace and Tilly replicated their HRIS Swimming achievements with Grace named Age Champion while Tilly was Runner-up Age Champion.
