SCAS girls ace the AICES Swimming Championships

SCAS was represented by 3 swimmers attending the Association of Independent Co-Educational Schools (AICES) Swimming Championships held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre this week, having qualified at the HRIS Carnival held earlier this month. We are pleased to report that all 3 achieved wonderful results as follows:

  • Mathilda ‘Tilly’ King (12 Years Girls) – 1st 100m Freestyle, 2nd 50m Breaststroke, 2nd 50m Freestyle, 5th 50m Backstroke and 6th 50m Butterfly
  • Grace Bannon (15 Years Girls) – 1st 100m Freestyle, 2nd 50m Breastroke, 2nd 50m Backstroke, 3rd 200m Freestyle, 3rd 200m Individual Medley, 4th 50m Butterfly and 5th 50m Freestyle
  • Meg Goodwin (18 Years Girls) – 6th 50m Backstroke, 9th 50m Freestyle and 10th 50m Butterfly

In further great news both Grace and Tilly replicated their HRIS Swimming achievements with Grace named Age Champion while Tilly was Runner-up Age Champion.

Congratulations to Tilly, Grace & Meg for these great results and we wish the best for Tilly & Grace at Combined Independent Schools Carnival to be held early next term.
