Alumni Toby McIntyre Receives Ma & Morley Scholarship

Class of 2018 graduate and former staff member Toby McIntyre has been awarded a prestigious Ma & Morley Scholarship joining 29 fellow students in the program at the University of Newcastle.

In 2019, Toby took on the role of TAS Assistant at SCAS as part of his gap year. Now in 2020, the scholarship will support Toby as he embarks on studying a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Innovation.

The Scholarship is designed to inspire, educate and cultivate the next generation of globally aware and socially conscious Australian leaders.

Toby was selected in a rigorous and competitive process because of his inspiring application which outlined his contribution to creating positive change in the world.

As a Ma & Morley scholar, Toby will benefit from:

  • An enrichment and values-based leadership program
  • A China immersion experience in July 2020 and other global opportunities
  • Generous financial assistance
  • Lifelong bonds and friendships

Toby, accompanied by Coordinator of TAS Justin Munro and School Principal Terry Muldoon, attended a welcome lunch for the 2020 Ma & Morley scholars. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and are excited to follow his journey.

Congratulations Toby.
