CAFS Students Volunteer

Year 11 Community and Family Studies (CAFS) students volunteered their time on several mornings this term at the Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre. Students assisted with the Food Connect program run at the Centre, which provides fresh food and produce for the disadvantaged in our community. The food is provided by REAP, who collect quality food from supermarkets and restaurants that is otherwise going to be discarded. The students also organised a breakfast BBQ for the community.
