As a Christian School in the Anglican Tradition, SCAS places a significant emphasis on mission. In essence, Mission is our calling to adopt and reveal God’s nature in the world. At the heart of God’s nature is the love and compassion He has shown us through the life of Jesus. It is, therefore, our mission to model this in our policies and curriculum. We use a Heart, Head and Hands model of mission within and beyond our community.
Heart, our mission is to centre on the generosity and compassion of Jesus Christ.
Head, our mission is to be informed of those in need both within and beyond our community.
Hands, our mission is to take action to reach out to those in need around us.
Our mission is lived extensively, we are called to a life of compassion in how we treat ourselves, others, creation by centering on the truth of God’s nature and the Good News he brings in the Gospel.
