Dear Year 10 Parents, Caregivers and Students,
You are warmly invited to our Year 11 2019 Subject Information Evening, to be held in the Iona Sports Stadium on Tuesday 5th June. The format for the evening will include a welcome from the Principal, an outline of the requirements of the Preliminary and HSC course, and an insight into possible patterns of study. Families will then be able to select the information they wish to hear by visiting one of the information stands that will be set up for each of the different subjects. Tea and coffee will be available.

As in past years, an information booklet will be made available to assist in the selection of subjects for the Stage 6 program. A copy of this booklet will be sent home, and will also be available on the Parent Lounge. You may like to take the opportunity to discuss your child’s elective choices prior to the night.
Students will be required to make initial selections by Friday 15th June so that preliminary lines for 2019 can be drawn up. Students will be interviewed about their choices to see how their choices fit these lines, and a second round of choices will then be offered.
