Families of Year 7 2019 are warmly invited to attend the Year 7 2019 Information Evening and Twilight School Tour, to be held on Tuesday 20th February 2018. Twilight School Tours commence at 5.00pm followed by an Information Session in the foyer of the Iona Performing Arts Centre from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
The night will be an opportunity to find out about the Secondary School at SCAS and the changes to expect. A number of Secondary staff will be there to present on the evening and to answer any questions you may have.
We will be speaking to parents and students about the wonderful opportunities that St Columba provides for students from Year 7 through to Year 12. You will learn about the philosophy and organisation of the Secondary School and the structures we will have put in place to help students feel valued, cared for and challenged to explore their many and varied interests. Secondary School staff will be speaking about:
– The Academic Program
– Pastoral Care
– Sporting Opportunities
– Creative and Performing Arts
– Innovative Learning Opportunities
– Technology in the Secondary School
Being well prepared is the key to success at High School and this night will help parents and students to be informed and excited about High School and the programs we offer at SCAS. It will be an informal evening with an opportunity to ask questions. Students are welcome to attend the evening with their parents or caregivers and are invited to attend in casual clothing.
