I am completing a traineeship, doing sports management and assistance, which entails completing my Certificate III in Fitness.
I was not quite sure what I wanted to do after school, so when this position became available I thought I would give it a go as PDHPE has always been a passion of mine.
It has been a good transition. At first, it was a little weird being considered staff and moving to a formal role, but my faculty is great and have helped tremendously.
A highlight for me is getting to know more students and learning about their passions in sport. Another highlight is working in such a fun environment with such a great faculty. They have made it very enjoyable and an easy transition.
