NSW School Immunisation Program

NSW Health works in partnership with schools to offer the vaccines recommended for adolescents by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) in a school-based vaccination program.

Year 7 and 10 information kits were sent home to parents early in the school year. If you have not already done so, please complete and sign the consent form, and return it to the Secondary Office.

Year 8 students will receive their second vaccination that was missed in 2020 due to COVID 19 restrictions at that time. Year 11 students may also receive a catch up vaccination if it was missed in 2020. Signed forms that were returned last year have been retained for permission. If you did not fill out a form last year you can collect one from the School Front Reception.

On the allocated vaccination day students are asked to eat a healthy breakfast and ensure they eat lunch. The scheduled vaccinations are outlined below:

  • Year 10 Nimenrix (Meningococcal ACWY)
  • Year 7 Catch ups for HPV Dose 1 & Boostrix
  • Year 8 HPV dose 2 – Catch up from 2020
  • Year 11 Nimerix (Meningococcal ACWY) catch up from 2020

Please contact NSW Health on 6589 2120 if you have any questions or concerns.
