This term we are pleased to be able to once again invite parents to join us for our Primary Assemblies. Assembly occurs on a Friday and run on a three week cycle of Stage Assemblies. Assembly dates are advertised in the School Calendar and may be rearranged to work around school activities like the Athletics Carnival and camps.

Assemblies are a short 30 minute gathering and in the Primary (Stage 3 and Stage 2) are run by our Student Leadership Committee and in Stage 1, by a presenting class. Our Year 6 students use Assembly opportunities to promote sustainability initiatives, fundraising and academic and sporting activities. Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 parents are notified via their child’s School Diary if it is their Class Assembly.
Parents are welcome to join us for Assembly, and Principal’s Award winners are always invited via email.
Assemblies are held in the Iona Performing Arts Centre, and we ask all parents to sign in at the School Front Reception office upon arrival, where they will be asked to show proof of vaccination.
