SCAS recently took a team of 101 students across Primary and Secondary School to attend the Hunter Region Independent Schools (HRIS) Cross Country Championships held at Avondale College Cooranbong (South of Newcastle), competing against students from 15 other schools for the chance to further represent the HRIS in Sydney.
Despite the unavailability of some of our top runners, there were many success stories on the day. We congratulate the following students on being selected in the HRIS team to compete in Sydney:
