SCAS HRIS Athletes Finish Third

A team of 85 students attended the Division 1 HRIS Secondary School Athletics Carnival yesterday in Newcastle. Despite the unavailability of a number of students (understandably mostly seniors) the team performed exceptionally well, finishing third in the overall point score. This is our best result to date in Division 1.

Michael Woodward (17 years), Meg Goodwin (18 years) and Tilly King (12 years) (left to right above) were awarded Age Champion on the day. A special mention also to senior students Oliver Rikmanis, Jane Whalen, Beau Jesser, Luka Sagolj and Emily Stewart for their fantastic commitment to the team by competing in almost every available event on the day.

Thank you also to Secondary staff Mrs Tracy Diplock, Mrs Amanda Cooper and Mr David Beard for attending and providing great support to the team.
