“With a hey, nonny nonny”, five schools across the Mid North Coast gathered on what was a chilly day in PLC Armidale to compete for places in the statewide and ACT finals in Sydney on June 1.
Congratulations to our representing teams and the Peak Academy for their participation, creativity and performing artistry across dance, acting, music and film.
All participating students performed extremely well and are already planning their next entry for 2025!
Proceeding to the Statewide Finals at the Seymour Centre in Sydney on June 1 and 2 are:
Dance: First Place – Antony and Cleopatra: Zoe Game, Angus Ismay, Kira Mistry, Mekky Ratakan
Music: First Place – Othello “Deaf, dumb and blind“ (Iago’s perspective): Adam Hempsell
Smart Film: First Place – Troilus and Cressida “Keeping up with the Kindergartens”: Mekky Ratakan and Minnie Yonge

Ensemble: 3rd Place – Mahli Lees, Willow Luke, Sam Moore, Charlie Finnecy and Andrae Cabanero

It was a fun-filled day meeting new friends from other schools, all gathered to honour the works of William Shakespeare.
