The Secondary School Cross Country Championships were held on Thursday 23rd March. Due to the wet conditions this event was modified to a ‘competitors only’ event, for students specifically wishing to be selected to represent SCAS at the HRIS carnival.
The Googik track provided some mud puddle obstacles, to further test the endurance levels of the runners. Despite the reduced number of competitiors, competition remained fierce across most age groups for a place in the SCAS team.
