Stella Sings in the New Iona Performing Arts Centre

Stella Hannock

After graduating from SCAS in 2015, Stella moved to Sydney to study a Bachelor of Music Performance in Classical Voice at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Stella was awarded with a Sydney Scholars Award Scholarship which financially assists her for the entirety of her degree. She is currently in her third year and is enjoying more performance opportunities both within and outside her degree.

In July 2017, Stella travelled to Europe and spent a month in Berlin intensively studying the German language at the Goethe Institut. She loved her time in Berlin and is looking forward to the possibility of post graduate study and further training overseas.

Stella felt very honoured to be a part of the opening of the new Iona Performing Arts Centre, knowing the immense positive impact it is going to have on the further growth of the Performing Arts Centre of Excellence (PACE). The Performing Arts Department has always been brimming with enthusiasm, inspiration, and expertise, and she is excited that the current and future students of SCAS have the benefit of these world-class facilities. She hopes to see the programs in place at SCAS and the growing opportunities available provide an ever growing source of inspiration for young people considering a career in the arts.

Welcome back Stella and thank you for your outstanding contribution with the opening of the Iona Performing Arts Centre.
