Welcome Adrian Nalletamby – Year 5 Primary Teacher

In 2023, we welcome Adrian Nalletamby to our Primary team, teaching the Year 5 Dolphins. Adrian began his teaching career in the mid-1990s in Western Sydney before travelling to work at schools internationally in China, England and Singapore. At his previous schools, Adrian has worked in a number of roles including classroom teacher, PE Specialist, Secondary Maths teacher and Head of Year.

The SCAS Media team met up with Adrian to learn more.

What are you looking forward to about 2023 at SCAS? I am looking forward to being part of a community, working with students from different backgrounds and cultures and helping them achieve their goals.
What was your favourite co-curricular activity as a student?  As a student, I played softball and baseball as well as football (soccer).
What is your favourite thing to do on the weekend? I love being outside in the sunshine, relaxing in the pool, walking the dog in the bush or barbecuing on a Sunday.
What was your latest good read?I am currently reading “The Godfather” by Mario Puzo. We went and saw a screening of the movie to celebrate the 50th Anniversary and I was told the book was amazing.
Tell us a fun fact about you I have been told my last name comes from the Tamil language and means “Good” (nalle) “Boy” (tamby).
