We are excited to welcome Mr Dougal MacIntyre to our Mathematics Faculty.
Dougal began his teaching journey at Western Springs College in Auckland, a vibrant state school celebrated for its Maori immersion unit, where he shared his passion for mathematics. After four enriching years, Dougal made the move to Melbourne, immersing himself in the city he had grown to love. For eight years, he dedicated himself to teaching Mathematics at Wesley College.
In 2022, Dougal embarked on a new adventure in Sydney, joining the esteemed faculty at Inaburra School in the Sutherland Shire. The following year he embraced a new chapter, finding himself settling in the beautiful surroundings of Port Macquarie in 2023. Now rooted in Port Macquarie, Dougal finds joy in the closeness to his two-year-old son Remi’s grandparents, while eagerly anticipating the opportunity to inspire young minds in mathematics at SCAS.
