The Media team sat down with Rebecca to learn more about her.

What are you looking forward to about 2023 at SCAS?I am really looking forward to being a part of the SCAS community – getting to know our students, staff and parents better (who have all been very welcoming and supportive so far) and working together to have a positive and exciting year ahead!
What was your favourite co-curricular activity as a student? My favourite co-curricular activities were basketball and soccer.
What is your favourite thing to do on the weekend?I love spending time with my family and friends, as well as exploring new places. This has been one of the best things about moving to Port, exploring the beaches and surrounding areas, and of course finding our way around Bunnings!
What was your latest good read?I love giving and receiving book recommendations with my students and my friends, so two of my latest books I have really enjoyed:
For students – Two Wolves by Tristan Bancks (also can’t wait to read his latest novel Cop and Robber)
For adults – American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins
Tell us a fun fact about youI love riding roller coasters – the scarier the better, however, I am terrified of heights!
