Dr Cameron Stelzer, author of the Pie Rat series and the Stroogle series came to visit Year 1-6 students.
During the two day visit he provided classes with fantastic creative writing and illustrating sessions. The children greatly enjoyed their time with him and many are now inspired to be writers or illustrators. As a part of the visit the classes also participated in a Stroogle colouring in competition and they designed a “Pie Rat” ship.
Many of the children also loved the opportunity to see and work with a real children’s book author and to purchase his books and character shirts and hoodies.
