Last week, I had the privilege of spending two days with the Year 12 Student Leadership Committee (SLC) members at the annual SCAS Leadership Retreat.
Mrs Diplock, Mrs Beard and I were totally inspired by the exemplary behaviour, ideas and teamwork shown by our Year 12 leaders on both days. We were also joined by Mr Beard, Mr Muldoon, Rev. Hodge and Alumni students who all generously gave their time to invest in the next generation of leaders at SCAS.
The fine young people in the SLC are truly spectacular young leaders who clearly showed their desire to make this great school even greater. Their goal of “2020 Vision” is designed to build on the efforts of the previous leadership teams and create greater cohesion between the year levels.
Thank you so much to the SLC team for your ideas and honesty – all of you are a constant source of inspiration, and I feel blessed to be the senior citizen of the SLC team in 2020.
