‘A Lighter Shade of Noir’ is a comic production which parodies the Film Noir Detective films of the 1950’s.
The Year 9 Treading the Boards #1’ class have been studying types of comedy and this production gives them the opportunity to
showcase what they have learnt in the real-life situation of a theatre performance.

Date: Friday 17 June 6:30pm to 8:30pm (Cast and crew required from 5.00pm)

Students are to make their own way to and from the rehearsals/ performance.
Drama Students: Students are to wear comfortable appropriate clothes for rehearsal, costumes will be provided for the performance.
Year 11 & 12 Entertainment Industries: Entertainment Blacks
Students should bring some snacks and a drink bottle with water, no glass. Students will not be able to leave during rehearsals (no walking to Coles). There will be an option to buy pizza on the rehearsal night if students choose to purchase their own through a group order.

Parents are advised that this event is required to be held in accordance with any current NSW Health COVID-19 Public Health Orders, and the School’s own policies and procedures.
