SCAS is very grateful to the many parents and students who so generously packed boxes for this year’s Operation Christmas Child appeal. 135 boxes were delivered to the Port Macquarie Co-ordinator, Mr Graeme Kightley by our Primary Leadership Team and those boxes have begun their journey to Sydney and then on to Cambodia.
We know some families still are packing boxes, and a few more might wish to, so please don’t think you have to wait until 2019. Please keep locating the items, pack your boxes and return them to SCAS in the next few weeks. We will have a final collection of these boxes in October as part of the smaller second consignment to leave Port Macquarie.
Thank you for packing your love in a shoebox. Each shoebox will bring untold joy to other children who live in circumstances vastly different to SCAS families.
