CIS Swimming

Mathilda King and Grace Bannon represented SCAS and AICES at the Combined Independent Schools (CIS) Swimming Championships held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (Homebush) this week, performing exceptionally well to qualify for the CIS team to attend the NSW All-Schools titles next week.

Mathilda swam in three events with results as follows:

  • 7th 12 years 50m Freestyle
  • 7th 12 years 100m Freestyle
  • 2nd 12 years 50m Breaststroke

Grace had a full program swimming in seven events with results as follows:

  • 2nd 15/16 years 200m Individual Medley (1st 15 year old)
  • 4th 15 years 50m Breaststroke
  • 5th 15 years 100m Freestyle
  • 6th 15/16 years 200m Freestyle (3rd 15 year old)
  • 6th 15/16 years 200m Breaststroke (3rd 15 year old)
  • 6th 15/16 years 100m Breaststroke (4th 15 year old)

Congratulations to both Mathilda and Grace, and we wish them both all the very best at the NSW All-Schools events next week.
