Mark Brown receives Excellence in Education award

The Australian College of Educators (ACE) is a professional association which represents educators across all sectors and systems.  ACE seeks to recognise educators and/or educational institutions for excellence in educational practice, and this includes demonstrated excellence in curriculum development, student well being, professional development, technology, pedagogy, leadership, innovation, scholarship, indigenous education, learning support and disability education.

Mark Brown, the Managing Director of the SCAS Performing Arts Centre of Excellence, was recently nominated in the category of “Excellence in Education” for NSW, and we are excited to announce that his nomination has been successful.

This award recognises leadership and innovation in relation to his 13 years at St Columba Anglican School, and Mark will receive his award at the Sir Harold Wyndham Medal and Awards Dinner in Sydney in August. This is a fantastic accolade for Mark, and for the School. Congratulations Mark.
