Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students, and their teachers, were treated to a wonderful play by Meerkat Productions which brought to life the CBCA short listed book ‘Gary’ by Leila Rudge.
Gary is a pigeon who can’t fly but he ends up going on an accidental yet amazing adventure, and along the way he learns about himself and the world. The show examines various themes including individuality, resilience, determination, resourcefulness, fear and goal setting. It shows that in reality we are all a little like Gary.
