I wanted to take a break before I went to film school because I knew it would be a very intense workload for the next few years. This position came up and everything seemed to fall into place.
I found it difficult at times, just because I knew some of the teachers from my old high school, so that felt a bit funny to call them by their first names and not by their teacher names. But it’s been really cool, the staff have all been very supportive and very understanding of me trying to remember everyone’s names.
Seeing the students’ smiling faces every day.
Nah for reals, it’s a great opportunity to transition into the workforce.
