On Monday 8 February and Tuesday 9 February 2021, parent sessions will be held to outline programs, work and class expectations and school activities for the upcoming year. It is exciting that we can have parents join us on the campus for the first time in many months. There are restrictions on numbers, and the evening has been structured to maintain Year level meetings at separate times. Specialist Staff will attend, as will the Primary Leadership Team.
The information sessions have been split into whole grade sessions and held in the Iona Theatre to optimize the number of people who can attend. Parents are asked to send only one representative from each family (as gathering sizes are limited) and check-in via the ServiceNSW App. We aim to maintain numbers within COVID-Safe guidelines from NSW Health so we can run this event. The sessions will be available via a Vimeo recording so families can view from home or at a later time. This link will be provided prior to the evening and the live stream will commence at the scheduled times.
The sessions in the theatre will be followed by a short tour of the classroom by the teachers. Parents will be asked to maintain COVID-Safe practices during this walk through the school and remain within their class group.
