Primary Students ‘Escape to Everywhere’

Each year across Australia, The Children’s Book Council of Australia brings children and books together to celebrate Children’s Book Week. This year the theme for Book Week is “Escape to Everywhere”.

The St Columba Book Week Parade is always a highlight of the school year, with Primary students and staff putting a tremendous effort into their costumes from their favourite books for the Parade.

Some of our friends from Columba Cottage also participated in the Book Week Parade this year, and we had many parents and grandparents fill the seats and enjoy watching the children show off their great creations.

Many thanks also to all those parents and students who supported our Book Fair fundraiser in the Dawson Library.
