SCAS Year 8 students finish 2nd in University of Sydney embedded systems design challenge

Late last year the University of Sydney held an embedded systems design challenge called The Mad Maker Challenge.

The competition was held Australia wide for students in Years 9 and 10. SCAS put forth 1 entry from a team of Year 8 students Hannah Jones and Joshua Blue. Both of these students demonstrated amazing skills in the area of computer coding using an Arduino Esplora Board. We finished second in the competition winning a $1500 prize pack for the school.
