Earlier this year Stage 1 Crusaders decided that one way we could be God’s lights and show His love to others is by sponsoring a child. So last Friday afternoon, we hosted a fundraiser disco for our new sponsor child, Ratthaphum.
The disco was loads of fun, and our Year 3 leaders, Janaye, Katie and Millie, did a superb job hosting the evening (even with a broken arm). We learnt that Ratthaphum lives in Thailand, where Mr Barnett and his family will be going on mission next year, and that he is 7 years old.
Everyone took home a paddle pop stick bookmark made by Crusaders to remind us to pray for Ratthaphum and his family. Thanks to everyone who brought in a donation. We raised $200 which pays for his sponsorship for four months! Well done!
