Success at HRIS Debating

Our Year 6 and Year 8 Debating teams competed today at the 2019 Hunter Region Independent Schools (HRIS) Inter-School Debating Competition at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican School, and have won their prepared debates convincingly.

Amelia Stanfield-Gates of Year 6 and Lachlan Price of Year 8 gained further accolades when they were awarded the best debater in their respective competitions. This success is a fitting reflection of their skill and dedication.

The improvement of all of our debating students this year has been wonderful to witness.

Congratulations to all of our debaters:

Year 6: Amelia Stanfield-Gates, Imogene Farley, Adam Hempsell, Seanna Hosking
Year 8: Lachlan Price, Benoy Drenzla, Aarohi Deshmukh, Georgia Stanfield-Gates
