There is something enchanting about paper planes. The SCAS Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 play area has been whizzing with paper planes over the last month for the Paper Plane Challenge. Turbo Rockets and Gliders have been a definite hit with students.
Measuring distance was the main goal of this activity, however learning to follow step-by-step directions and valuing trial and error have been major outcomes. Besides that, it has been so much fun! Even the Year 6 students have come along to help teach the younger students how they make their paper planes fly far and high in the sky!
