Visual Arts Excursion to Sydney

Year 11 and 12 Visual Art students enjoyed their recent trip to Sydney to visit ArtExpress and Contemporary Art exhibitions at the Armory, AGNSW and MCA.

These exhibitions provided students with an insight into the diversity and high quality of HSC Visual Art submissions as well as the opportunity to visit permanent collections of artwork by many famous historical and contemporary artists. Students enjoyed the history tour around Cockatoo Island and gained inspiration for their artmaking. It was a great opportunity to have the Year 11 Manning Valley art students join us in our adventure through Sydney.
