100 Days of Year 1

It was with much excitement that our Year 1 students recently celebrated the “100th Day of School” for this year!
Students have been busy counting the days all year, which was a great Mathematics activity for counting, skip counting and number patterns. All of the Year 1 students were involved in activities throughout the day such as counting to 100 with a song, counting their collections of 100 items, 100 Day stories, 100 Day challenges, making a 100 Day crown, and writing about 100 wishes. A special treat at the end of the day saw the children attempt 100 nibbles of a donut and 100 sips of lemonade!

The children had a fun day and are excited that they are now 100 days smarter! Congratulations Year 1!
