Over 170 000 students take on the challenge of the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) in 2156 schools worldwide. The AMC is a 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives.
156 students took part in the competition at SCAS, and the Secondary school received 12 distinctions and 41 credits awarded. This is an outstanding achievement, considering the top 20% of these keen Mathematicians get a Distinction and the top 55% of the candidates receive a Credit.
