Christian Studies

In this season of Advent, as we lead up to Christmas, pause from the busyness for a time to reflect on some practical ways you might change the traditional focus of Christmas from a materialistic one, to one that focuses on the true meaning of the season. I challenge your family to create a new tradition or family practice you could undertake which will make every Christmas a more authentic celebration of Jesus.

Your child will be bringing home their Connect book from Christian Studies. Rather than simply disposing of it, please allow your child to share with you some of the lessons learned, characters we’ve met and ideas we’ve discussed. They might like to take their workbook along on your travels to complete some of the unfinished lessons due to lost class time or absences.

I pray that you and your family will have a happy and holy Christmas time as you celebrate the birth of the Little Lord Jesus.
