Sydney Eisteddfod Success!

Exciting news from the weekend’s Sydney Dance Eisteddfod at the Sydney Opera House.

Our Year 7 to 9 Dance Honours group won their section, and are now eligible to be invited to the Dance of Champions, which is a nationally televised event held in September.

The Senior Honours group qualified to compete at the Dance Gala held at the Sydney Opera House. This event is the premier dance event held by the Sydney Dance Eisteddfod, and attacts both national and international dancers. Our ensemble will compete in the Ballet Scholarship and Dance Ensembles Group Finals.

These are both major achievements for our students, and will once again place us on the national stage. Congratulations to all of our dancers who competed in the Eisteddfod, and our dance teachers, Brianna Thomas and Shelly Kelly.

The School acknowledges the generous support of the Sydney Eisteddfod Committee with their donation of a Travel Grant for our Dance team.
