This year, SCAS participated for the first time in a statewide Shakespeare Carnival competition by Sport for Jove Theatre Company.
We entered seven categories at the regional level and four of our groups made it to the State Finals held over the June long weekend. For this event, the eight students travelled to Sydney and competed against over 20 schools from across NSW.
I would like to thank Iona Peak Performing Arts Academy students and the Year 9 Dance Certificate elective for their participation at the regional and state levels. A special thanks to Mrs Lukes for her work with the Year 9 Dance entry.
The results from the four categories we entered at the finals level each were awarded places in the finals.

These students have been awarded the crown and ribbons which we will display in our trophy cabinet in The Iona Performing Arts Centre.
