Awesome Happenings in Year 4

Art and Science

This term Year 4 are studying plant and animal survival, and are basing their artwork on their Science unit. There are some good evolutionary reasons why animals have the patterns and markings they do. Students have transferred that knowledge to their artwork with oil pastels, looking at the effects of colour, shade and depth.

Maths

This term students are covering concepts involving Place Value and Length. Here are some images of our students at work both inside and out.
