As we are at the beginning of the term, it is a good time to refresh our understanding of what constitutes standardised uniform requirements.
Numerous designs and styles of footwear are being worn by our students with their Summer and Winter Uniforms. Whilst we understand the desire for students to select their own style, the St Columba Anglican School Uniform needs to be consistent throughout the school, including footwear.
The image is a guide to the styles of footwear that are acceptable. These styles will be mandated in 2019 and are expected to be followed when purchasing new footwear. Current shoes (plain, black, leather lace-up (or velcro shoes for Primary students) designed for school wear) may be worn until the end of 2018 or until worn out.
