Drama Teachers Visit NIDA

Our Entertainment Industries and Drama teachers, Mrs Catherine Grootenboer and Ms Ella Lakin, have spent time during the holiday break at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), honing their skills and gaining a new qualification in Designing, Applying and Removing Stage Makeup. This course focused on wounds, aging, fantasy and period specific make up.

Some of their designs and first make up tests are below, as well as the results of Mrs Grootenboer transforming Ms Lakin using aging makeup techniques.
