Over 400 Grandparents and Grandfriends came to SCAS to enjoy time in the classroom with their grandchildren for Grandparents Day. They enjoyed activities such as baking ANZAC cookies and making woollen Easter baskets.
Kindergarten Grandparents sported necklaces with handmade badges, and Year 2 students discussed with their visitors how things have changed in the classroom since their Grandparents were at school.
Our Primary choirs performed a number of songs, including ‘We love our Nans and Pops’ written by Primary Teacher, Ms Rebekah Erga.
