SCAS had 16 students from Years 3-6 travel to St Phillip’s Christian College in Cessnock, NSW to compete at the Hunter Region Independent Schools (HRIS) Public Speaking competition.
Students were selected to compete in one of the following four categories: Bible Reading; Impromptu Reading; Poetry or a Prepared Speech. The standard of competition was impressive and great day was had by all.
