Malcolm Head has joined our Secondary Mathematics faculty in 2021. Malcolm moved to Port Macquarie two years ago, and taught at St Joseph’s Regional High School in 2019 and spent last year renovating his home and working as a causal teacher.
Prior to moving to Port Macquarie, Malcolm lived in Queensland where he taught at Ipswich Grammar School for 14 years and Boonah State High School for 17 years.
Malcolm says he is really looking forward to being a part of a school system where the wellbeing and academic outcomes of students is really valued.
When he isn’t working, Malcolm likes to spend time discovering the lovely Hastings Valley Region or spending time at the numerous beaches around Port Macquarie with his partner and their dog.
Malcolm would like to pass on his thanks to the SCAS staff and students for the warm friendly welcome he has received since starting at the School.
