Joe Begbie places 7th in Australian Schools Triathlon

Year 11 student, Joe Begbie, recently competed in the intermediate category at the Australian Schools Triathlon Festival on Thursday 20th April 2017.

He was first out of the water and lead the cycle leg until the second group caught the 2 leaders with half a lap to go.
He fought hard in the run, and came home 7th (1st NSW athlete). An outstanding result. He will move up to the Senior category in 2018. Congratulations Joe!
