Lauren Continues to Visit SCAS

Since finishing school in 2013, Lauren Benson (School Captain) has embarked on a wide range of adventures. Initially she took a gap year travelling through Southeast Asia and on her return she moved to Sydney to begin studies in journalism at the University of Technology Sydney. Lauren decided that journalism wasn’t for her so she moved back home, worked in real estate and then began K-12 Teaching Degree at Charles Sturt University in Port Macquarie. She is currently in her third year.

Lauren has been welcomed back to SCAS on a regular basis where she has been assisting in the Primary and Secondary classes. She recognises some familiar faces but is amazed at how the School has grown – both with new staff and new buildings.

Lauren is looking forward to catching up with her 2013 cohort at the Five Year reunion at SCAS on Saturday 30th June this year.
