NSW All-Schools Cross Country

Anneliese Cains and Jack Mills competed at the NSW All-Schools Cross Country Championships held over the recent holiday period, performing exceptionally well on the day to each finish 7th in their respective age divisions.
Both Anneliese (3rd CIS finisher) and Jack (4th CIS finisher) improved their times significantly from the earlier Combined Independent Schools (CIS) event, although unfortunately just missed out on selection in the NSW team to attend the National titles later this year, as a result of a combined age group structure. This near miss has motivated both Anneliese and Jack, with both students already looking forward to another opportunity next year.
Congratulations to both of these students on these great results, which are a much deserved reward for their dedication to training in this tough sport.
