St Columba alumnus, Melwin Nelapati, held a UMAT information session at SCAS for students in Years 10, 11 and 12 who might be considering a career in medicine.
Melwin is now a 3rd year student of medicine at University of New South Wales, studying here in Port Macquarie. The session provided students with an insight into the application process for medicine and also a taste of what to expect in UMAT examinations. The session presented some challenging questions that highlighted the need for problem solving and critical thinking skills. The school would like to thank Melwin for being so generous with his time.
